This blog is about libraries, librarians, the biblioblogosphere, circulation, public service, training and anything else that affects my day to day life. It already exists on Blogger, but I am going to move it to WordPress per LIS:768 (which I may or may not participate in this semester.

Last 30 years

I started library school 30 years ago this summer. The field has changed enormously in the past 30 years. In fact, it has changed enormously in the last 6 years (we moved into our new library in 2001). My friend Augur posted a challenge to me in the comments section to a post by tet on Urbanagora and in the next few days/weeks I am going to take a shot at discussing those changes.

The challenge:

Kitten: I would love to read a guest post by you on how Library Science has changed in the last 30 years, and your opinion of how it will change in the next 30.
